Success Stories Photo

Think ending homelessness is impossible? Think again. Utah has committed to end chronic homelessness and reduce overall homelessness by 2014. Success stories abound, and promise to change misconceptions about the causes of homelessness and prognosis for recovery. Since implementing the plan we've:

  • seen a 15% reduction in chronic homelessness
  • housed 245 chronically homeless men and women
  • assisted tenants with jobs or social security and VA benefits – injecting nearly $1 million into the economy
